Here are some of the flics we got while we were in Melbourne recently, taken with a little digital camera as we were walking around the amazing lane and alley ways that Melbourne has to offer – It’s like a graffiti hall of fame if you know where you’re looking.
We also came across this guy, who formally introduced himself to us as Steve the pirate, and after we gave him some “treasure” he was more than happy to pose for a photo with his first mate and tell his life story to us in return.
Steve went on to tell us that he had seven passions, those being – Singing, dancing, acting, comedy and poetry. Yep, that’s seven.
When you see a “bum” on TV or in a photograph, usually everyone is fast to assume that they are all wacked out and crazy low life junkies, but as we found with Steve, some are actually polite, well spoken and seemingly very well educated. The crazy thing about this guy is that he was so optimistic about his situation, he in his heart of hearts believed that this was only temporary and that he would go on to bigger and better things – Good luck man, thanks for sharing your tales with us!
